My first pregnancy announcement photoshoot, courtesy of the incredible Emily and Scott! I’ve photographed these two cuties a couple of times before, so I was so glad that I got to help them with the announcement that they are expecting. These were taken at Beverly Hills Village Park in Beverly Hills (Michigan, that is), which offered a woodsy setting with a lot of greenery and thistle. It was the perfect backdrop for their pastel outfits. This being their first kid, they were so excited for this new chapter in their lives, which really shows in these photos. Oftentimes, I have to prompt couples to smile for photos, but for Emily and Scott, it was the opposite—they were so giddy that I had to prompt them to stop smiling for the serious poses! Getting to capture this special occasion for them was a heartwarming experience and I can’t wait to photograph more announcement sessions in the future. They are such a kind and loving couple and I know they are going to make incredible parents!
